The Buffalo Bills are red-hot after securing their third consecutive AFC East championship.

Now, the focus is on Cincinnati for a real shot at the number one seed in the AFC and to force the playoffs to run through Buffalo.

At times, there have been issues with the team on both sides of the football. However, the team is in a prime position for a deep playoff run with one of the best rosters in the NFL.

Leave it to Nick Wright, a notorious anti-Josh Allen analyst, to call out the team and the franchise quarterback.

It's easy to cherry-pick stats to fit a narrative, which Wright has done successfully to rile up the Bills Mafia.

When looking at the statistics, there are a few important caveats. The Bills are eighth in EPA and EPA + CPOE, 5th in success rate, and Josh Allen has the same amount of interceptions as Patrick Mahomes since week six.

With all that in mind, there's even more information that further proves Wright's point isn't the strongest. Buffalo had the hardest strength of schedule and highest strength of victory in the NFL. While Mahomes and the Chiefs were taking down teams like the Texans, Allen and the Bills took on the Dolphins and Jets.

Additionally, weather played an important factor in the statistics as well.

Not all of what Wright says is wrong, Allen had been in a slump during the season. A UCL injury and a depleted O-Line made for some rough games for Josh Allen. Nevertheless, Allen is putting up MVP type numbers and quite literally making history with his performances.

Mahomes and Allen are top-tier quarterbacks in the NFL, and there aren't many players in the league who are better at their craft than those two.

Nevertheless, it doesn't matter what you do in the regular season. Allen and the Bills need to take the next step and win when it matters most.

It's safe to say both the Chiefs and the Bills should like their chances for the next 10+ years.
