If you're a Dallas Cowboys fan who wants to see Deion Sanders join the coaching staff one day, you're out of luck.

Sanders, who is entering his third season as the head coach at Jackson State, has made it clear several times recently that he has no desire to coach in the NFL.

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal mentioned earlier this year that Sanders should be the head coach of the Cowboys. Sanders responded to the comments in an interview with The Spun.

"That’s a tremendous blessing not just for me, but for us. He’s a friend, and I’m thankful for him," said Sanders. "We didn’t even discuss it. I’m thankful he mentioned me, but I have no desire to coach in the NFL."

That echoes what Sanders said last month during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Sanders said he couldn't coach professional athletes because of all the money they make while sometimes not doing their job.

Sanders is making a huge impact with Jackson State. I don't blame him for not wanting to get involved with professional athletes.

But who knows, Sanders could have a change of heart one day and decide he wants to give the NFL a shot. For now, though, it sounds unlikely that he'll ever be roaming the sidelines in Dallas.
