The latest mock draft from CBS Sports has the Dallas Cowboys making a risky selection that could potentially pay off in a big way.
CBS Sports has Dallas taking Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Williams, who transferred to Alabama from Ohio State before the 2021 season, had a monster year for the Crimson Tide this past season.
The former four-star recruit caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2021.

Unfortunately for Williams, he tore his ACL in the national championship game against Georgia. The talented wide receiver likely won't be ready for the start of the 2022 season.
Before his injury, Williams was viewed by some analysts as the No. 1 wide receiver in the draft.
As a result of the torn ACL, Williams has fallen down draft boards a bit.
Here's what CBS Sports says about Williams:
Two years ago, the Cowboys jumped at the opportunity to stop CeeDee Lamb's fall. They roll the dice here on the injured Williams, who looked like a top 20 selection before his ACL tear. He'll instantly replace Michael Gallup.
There's obviously a lot of risk with taking a player who's recovering from a torn ACL.
But it could certainly make sense for the Cowboys — especially with Michael Gallup hitting free agency and uncertainty surrounding Amari Cooper.
Williams absolutely has the talent to be an elite playmaker in the NFL.
But will he be the same wide receiver after recovering from his torn ACL?
That's the question NFL teams will be facing at the draft when they're presented with the opportunity to draft Williams.
