3 very bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers in 2022

It's the middle of the offseason, there are no minicamps or OTAs happening right now, and most free agents have already been signed. Mostly all that's left are veterans with question marks.
That's why it's a good time to make some very bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers in 2022.
I get it. Most of these "bold predictions" never come true. Every now and then one might hit, but for the most part, they never come to fruition.
It's still fun, however, to take a shot at predicting the future. And when it comes to predictions about the NFL, bold is really the only way to go. So many things that happen in the NFL seemingly come out of nowhere.
So, let's be bold. Here are very bold three predictions for the Packers in 2022.

1. Sammy Watkins has a career year
Sammy Watkins has only surpassed 1,000 receiving yards once in his career. And that was way back in 2015. Watkins caught passes from Patrick Mahomes for a couple of years with the Kansas City Chiefs, but Aaron Rodgers will be the best quarterback that Watkins has ever played with.
Watkins is also set to possibly be the Packers' No. 1 wide receiver in 2022 after the team sent Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this offseason. There's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Packers' wide receivers, but I think Rodgers will develop a great connection with Watkins, leading the former Clemson star to have the best year of his NFL career at age 29.
2. Green Bay signs Julio Jones, but Amari Rodgers ends up being the Packers' No. 2 WR

It's no secret that Green Bay could use another veteran wide receiver. And it feels like they're destined to sign Julio Jones, a potential future Hall of Famer. But while it's a move that feels inevitable, that doesn't necessarily mean it'll work out. I think the Packers end up signing Jones at some point this summer, but I think he'll once again be limited by injuries and fail to make an impact (basically a similar season as he had last year with the Tennessee Titans).
Amari Rodgers, a second-year wide receiver from Clemson, is the player I think will step up as the Packers' No. 2 wide receiver in 2022. Rodgers was used mostly as a returner last season. But I think he's a talented player who's extremely tough. I don't know if Rodgers will put up eye-popping numbers, but I think he'll become a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers.
3. Jordan Love demands a trade
This might be the boldest prediction of them all. I think Jordan Love will look around the league a few weeks into the season and see that bad quarterback play is plaguing franchises. Teams like the Seattle Seahawks seem eager to enter the season without a proven option at quarterback. Love is going to finally grow frustrated and try to force his way out of Green Bay so he can play for one of those teams that need a quarterback. It'll be an ugly end to a relationship that was strained from the very beginning.
