TAMPA BAY – Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has accomplished just about everything a football player can accomplish during his career, so it's always amazing when he finds another way to break yet another record.
Well, Brady did it again on Wednesday, even if it wasn't through his own direct contribution.
It's been long-known the Buccaneers would play in Germany this year, but the opponent hadn't been revealed until Wednesday morning on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. Tampa Bay will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Munich for one of the NFL's Week 10 matchups in 2022.
The news officially makes Brady the first quarterback to start an NFL game in three different foreign countries, and four countries total, which is an NFL record. He's the first quarterback to ever accomplish the feat. If he is healthy enough to start the game, of course.
It's amazing: Brady doesn't have to do anything to set records anymore. The longevity of his career combined with his unparalleled play have set him up to where all the top records just naturally come to him as the seasons pass.
What a life.
