Chris Lammons has been named as a supsect connected with Alvin Kamara's battery case.

Alvin Kamara made headlines last week when he was arrested on a battery charge and now, it looks like Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chris Lammons may have been involved, as well.

Las Vegas' KLAS-TV reports that Lammons has been named as the fourth suspect in the case after the two other suspects, Percy Ahmaad and Darrin Christopher Young, turned themselves in to authorities Monday. Per court records obtained by KLAS-TV's I-Team, the four men face charges of "conspiring to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm". Ahmaad and Young have posted bail and are due back in court on March 16. Kamara posted bond shortly after his arrest and is due back in court on March 8.

The police report states the victim suffered an orbital fracture on his right eye, which might require surgery, along with marks to his head, knee and arms. The altercation began after Kamara allegedly pushed the victim out of an elevator. Police allege that three other men joined Kamara in stomping on the victim's chest, face, and legs. Lammons is allegedly one of those men.

It's currently unclear as to which charges Lannom may face, but battery resulting in bodily harm in Nevada carries a prison sentence of one to five years with a mandatory fine of $10,000 if convicted.

The 26-year-old Lammons went undrafted in 2018 before joining the Atlanta Falcons for the summer. The Falcons cut him before the season started and the New Orleans Saints picked him up about a month later.

That didn't work, either, and Lammons was let go toward the end of November. But things began to work out for the former Gamecock when the Miami Dolphins scooped him up. Lammons carved out a special teams role in 2019, where he logged 80% of special teams snaps and 13% of defensive snaps.

The Dolphins waived him in December 2019 and the Chiefs promptly picked him up about a week after. Lammons primarily played special teams for the Chiefs in 2020 and 2021, logging 75% and 74% of the team's special teams snaps in each of those two seasons.
