The NFL Scouting Combine kicks off this week and while the prospects are the main event, the coming evenings will be telling in terms of news.

The Steelers are no different, as there are plenty of rumors surrounding their offense and team as a whole for that matter.

With that in mind, here are three storylines to watch for during Combine week in Indy:

Diontae Johnson on the Trade Block?

In my opinion, Johnson is an elite WR #2 in this league given his route running, yards after the catch, and continued production despite what has been around him.

But whether it be his effort on the field, antics in the lockerroom or overall vibe that he gives off, many have floated the idea that Pittsburgh would try and move off of him while he still has value, given that he's 28 and entering the final year of his contract, with no guaranteed money left on the books.

So hopefully it's just offseason fodder, but often in football where there's smoke, there's fire. We'll find out which is which soon enough.

Steelers QB Situation

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the Combine for the Steelers will be what comes out of Indy regarding the QB position. I am in the camp that Pittsburgh will hold firm with Kenny Pickett as the starter and potentially sign a veteran as a backup, but Pittsburgh could make the uncharacteristic move and either sign, trade, or draft a new signal caller to overtake the reigns, a storyline likely to garner clarity after this week.

What Does Pittsburgh Do at 20th Overall?

It's hard to believe Pittsburgh wouldn't address the center position in the draft, especially considering a candidate that I and others at the draft department of A to Z Sports have pegged as a perfect fit.

But in the end, center is the third most important position on the offensive line, much less on the offense or team in general. So I wouldn't rule out them signing a free agent at the position and then going elsewhere in round one.
