The Kansas City Chiefs are champions once again. On the back of Patrick Mahomes and some key defensive stops, they reign supreme for a second year in a row. 

Patrick Mahomes threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns. He was also the team's leading rusher with 66 yards, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. Simply put, he did 'Patrick Mahomes things' when it mattered most for KC yet again. 

Additionally, Mahomes improved to 4-0 against the San Francisco 49ers in his career as the Chiefs starter.

Mahomes and the offense got off to a slow start in the first quarter, but second-half adjustments were key. They showed resilience that proved to be the difference in a highly-contested matchup with a talented San Fran squad. 

Mahomes improved to 15-3 in his career in the postseason. He's also won seven playoff games in a row. Word to Thanos – Mahomes is inevitable
