ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. are set to launch a new joint venture streaming service later this year. It will apparently offer an extensive and unique sports package that will cover games from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and more.

The brand new inevitable streaming giant does not have a name as of yet, but the potential impact it may have on how we watch our favorite sports is likely monumental.

According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, "The launch of this new streaming sports service is a significant moment for Disney and ESPN, a major win for sports fans, and an important step forward for the media business."

Media members all over do not yet know what this streaming service will look like, but they all agree the move likely has significant ramifications.

Due to ESPN's involvement this may not only have an effect on professional sports leagues, but on the world of college athletics as well. The College Football Playoff is set to be completely restructured in 2024 and is up for an optional change in contract details shortly after the 2025 season.

The rules and laws currently set in place regulating NIL and potential future revenue sharing for college athlete compensation may be impacted by this new streaming giant as well.

The possibilities of potential future impact are seemingly endless.

A to Z will be following this closely as more information on the new sports streaming service continues to surface.
