The New England Patriots made a final decision today, alongside head coach Bill Belichick. They are parting ways. Belichick will move on, potentially as the head coach of another team in the NFL. Only time will tell.

Legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted on Instagram about the news regarding New England and Belichick.

Brady and Belichick is the great QB/HC combination in league history. It is probably the best player-coach duo in all of sports history, too.

Brady played for Belichick for 20 seasons. They won six Super Bowl titles together. They created a legacy and a dynasty in New England. Their dominance spanned two decades, and the AFC ran through the Patriots.

During his press conference on Thursday morning, Belichick said that he'll 'always be a New England Patriot' after news broke that he mutually parted ways with NE after 24 seasons. Brady loved hearing that notion.

The pair did not always have the most emotionally-connected relationship, and it ended up in a 'divorce' when Brady left New England. That being said, two decades of success does not just disappear, and both sides know that the other was vital to their own success.

Brady will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame in 2024. He also called himself a "Patriot for Life" during a halftime ceremony in his honor to open the Patriots' season.

Now, Belichick will start a new chapter in his life and career.
