Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is making NFL history once again.

Entering the game Kelce needed seven receptions to break former San Francisco 49ers Jerry Rice's record for postseason receptions, which is the most by any player in the postseason in league annals. With nine receptions for 96 yards in the first half against the Ravens, Kelce has now claimed that record as his own with 154 career postseason receptions and counting.

The most impressive thing is the way that he's managed some of these receptions because they certainly weren't all easy catches to make. Like this diving 10-yard reception on third down. It kept a scoring drive alive.

Kelce also has a chance to soon pass for Rice for the all-time postseason touchdown receptions record. He entered the game needing five touchdown receptions and he's already recorded a touchdown in this game and that wasn't exactly an easy grab either.

He'll need a little more time to pass Rice in terms of postseason receiving yards. Rice has 2,245 career receiving yards. Kelce has 1,787 career receiving yards (first half vs. Ravens included).

Whether Kelce gets those two records remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain in this situation. The Chiefs Kingdom is watching perhaps the greatest receiver in postseason season history do his thing.
