Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson moved to a 1-4 career record against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Jackson did not have much to go his way in the AFC title game. From his two turnovers to sluggish play on third downs, the sixth-year passer had a performance to forget against Kansas City.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh touched base with Jackson after Baltimore’s 17-10 loss on the day, and he had a simple message for him.
"I told him to stand up tall," Harbaugh said during his postgame press conference.
Jackson put together quite a memorable season this year. He upped his game in multiple primetime contests, and he tallied 34 total touchdowns, including the playoffs.
Harbaugh much appreciates all the work that Jackson put in throughout the season.
"He's had a great season," Harbaugh said. "His performance today was all heart. He fought. He went out there and gave it everything he had, so I don't think that's anything that I'd be disappointed in."
Jackson holds a 58-19 record in regular season play, but he has won just two out of his six career playoff games.
