The Chicago Bears will be having another up close look at some of the top prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft next week.

Bears offensive line coach Jim Dray will be serving in the same role during the Reese's Senior Bowl on February 3rd. Dray will be joined by Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Chris Cook on the National team.

The event will be a great opportunity for scouting purposes as numerous top scouts will be in attendance during the game featuring top prospects in the class. The Bears will be getting an even more exclusive session given this opportunity.

The Bears have some recent success of drafting Senior Bowl alumni by selecting left tackle Darnell Wright in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft after getting a solid look at him during the event last year. Other notable offensive linemen from the 2023 Senior Bowl included Dawand Jones, O'Cyrus Torrence, Steve Avila, John Michael Schmitz, and Cody Mauch.

The Bears will have another opportunity to replicate some of that success leading up to this year's draft and Dray's evaluation of his players could be a major part of that.

Heading into the offseason, the Bears will be in need of an upgrade at the offensive guard and center positions. The front office could find that upgrade this weekend at the Senior Bowl.

Top prospects on the offensive line for the National team include: Illinois tackle Isaiah Adams, Kansas State guard Cooper Beebe, Wisconsin center Tanor Bortolini, Marshall tackle Ethan Driskell, Florida center Kingsley Eguakun, Washington center Troy Fautanu, among others.

While Dray will be getting an behind the scenes look at a few offensive lineman prospects at the Senior Bowl, Bears special teams coordinator Richard Hightower will be getting some exclusive information of his own on other top prospects who will be participating during the East-West Shrine Bowl as the head coach for the East team on February 1st.
