Sources have told A to Z Sports that Nate Ollie will not return as the Indianapolis Colts defensive line coach for next season.

This becomes the Colts first coaching opening of the offseason, and they will now look to fill the position in a timely manner.

Ollie joined the Colts before the start of the 2022 season and spent two years with the team. During that stretch, the Colts' defensive line production drastically increased.

The year before Ollie's arrival, the Colts finished with only 33 sacks, the 6th least In the NFL in 2021. In his first year with the team, the Colts improved to 44 sacks, the 6th most in the NFL. And then again, the Colts saw a jump in production from their pass rush group as they combined for 51 sacks, the most they have ever had during the franchise's tenure in Indianapolis, and was the 5th most in the NFL this year.
