Momentum is building for Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to become a head coach.

Per NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and Tennessee Titans will also interview Callahan for a second time this week.

Getting to the second interview is a huge step for head coach candidates as it indicates real interest from the hiring club. That Callahan is in the running for half of the remaining openings says a lot about his chances of landing a promotion.

Which team is the most likely to offer Callahan? ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano called his shot last week and predicted the Bengals' OC of the past five years will land the Carolina job. Graziano mentioned "it has been thought for a while" that Callahan is the top choice for the Panthers, who should be desperate to hire the right coach to properly develop quarterback Bryce Young.

Tennessee and Atlanta have each interviewed several candidates for the job as well. A to Z Sports' Buck Reising made a strong case for the Titans to hire Callahan, citing their need to focus on helping out quarterback Will Levis as much as possible.

"The Titans need to evolve offensively. Callahan's time as the offensive coordinator in Cincinnati has been hugely successful, through continued adaption and the ability to maximize whomever is under center in his system." – A to Z Sports' Buck Reising

The Bengals are very much aware of potential changes to their offensive coaching staff. The most likely replacement for Callahan would be quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher, who's an offensive coordinator candidate around the NFL as well.
