The stage is set for this season’s AFC title game.
Thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs' 27-24 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC divisional round, the Baltimore Ravens will host the reigning Super Bowl champions in the 2024 AFC Championship Game. The two division winners will square off next Sunday at 3:00 p.m. E.T, and CBS will broadcast this playoff showdown.
The Ravens and the Chiefs did not face off during the regular season, and their lone meeting in the playoffs came back in the 2010 season when Baltimore notched a 30-7 win in the AFC wild-card round. The two AFC powerhouse squads last met in Week 2 of the 2021 campaign when Lamar Jackson tallied three total touchdowns to lead the AFC North side to a 36-35 win.
The Chiefs are eyeing a trip to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the Patrick Mahomes era. The Ravens, on the other hand, will look to clinch a spot in the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2012 season.
The Ravens are slated to hold their first practice session of the week on Wednesday.
