The first two days of practice for the 2024 Senior Bowl have allowed multiple players to shine.
I shared my top three performers yesterday, and today, I will be sharing three different players who turned my head.
3 Winners from Day 2 of the Senior Bowl:
1. Laiatu Latu, Edge, UCLA
One of the top-rated players at the Senior Bowl this week is UCLA's Laiatu Latu, and he showed why on Wednesday. On day one, he had a solid showing but wasn't as dominant as some expected he would be. Well, on day two, he was the definition of dominant. He tortured linemen off the edge, as well as kicking inside off stunts to live in the backfield all day long. Latu is one of roughly three to four players currently fighting to be the first Edge Rusher drafted, and he's the only one here at the Senior Bowl. Today, he made a compelling argument to be the top Edge come April.
2. Dylan Laube, RB, New Hampshire
New Hampshire RB Dylan Laube barely missed out on being a winner in my day one piece. But he breaks through on day two, and he earned it. Laube got to show off his receiving ability more on day two, he even worked with WRs for part of the day an showed how dynamic he can be for an NFL team in that area. He's run hard and fast during the first two days and is showing that his huge success at the FCS level stacks up nicely against some of the best that college football has to offer at the Senior Bowl.
3. Jarvis Brownlee Jr., CB, Lousiville
Lousiville's Jarvis Brownlee Jr. had an incredible day two performance today. He dominated most of his one-on-one reps. And was impactful throughout the rest of practice to back it up. Brownlee made multiple plays on the ball and, at one point, ran a WRs route better than he did. Brownlee's success in a drill that is set up for him to fail more often than not was beyond impressive. And teams with CB needs, without a doubt, should be watching him the rest of the week.
