In true NFC West fashion, the Seattle Seahawks lost this past weekend to throw out any bit of comprehension that most of the NFL world has about the division as a whole.
Are the Seahawks good? Bad? Do they have the legs to go deep in the playoffs? Most of this can be said about a huge chunk of the rest of the NFC at large.
This is just the modern NFL and a tough schedule at work, and while a loss to an AFC opponent that looks like a lock to make a deep playoff run stings, the focus for now should be to beat up on NFC teams. That opportunity should present itself this weekend.
The Washington Commanders are the definition of a team that is hurting. After trading away both of its star pass-rushers, it has appeared to most of the league that this franchise is simply looking towards the future (but don't tell the Patriots that).
Everything being said, this should be a perfect get-right opportunity for the Seahawks.
The Commanders may have a few stars on their roster (namely one of the most underrated pass-catchers in the league), but Seattle should have the bodies to not just compete, but dominate.
Whether it is on offense or defense, Seattle has everything and then some to come out as the clear favorite this weekend.
Seattle will still have to play up to its potential, but every guy on that roster should be more than willing to go above and beyond after the beating they just took.
Devon Witherspoon makes huge play to build growing legacy
How can you ignore this rise?
