The Houston Texans (4-4) are coming off a thrilling win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) and their immediate reward is a crucial matchup against Joe Burrow and the red-hot Cincinnati Bengals (5-3).

Hardly anyone thought this would be one of the week's biggest games back in the preseason, yet here we are. CJ Stroud is easily the leading candidate for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award and Burrow is fully healthy and back to his old ways. Meaning, this game should be a lot of fun.

Will you be able to watch the game on TV? If you live in the green areas on the map below you'll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

Texans-Bengals (green) are competing with two other games during CBS' 1pm ET slate, and unfortunately, the network has chosen to air the Pittsburgh Steelers-Green Bay Packers game throughout the majority country. That game will probably total a thrilling 36 points when it's all said and done. It's clear the popularity of the two fanbases drove the decision instead of the better matchup.

The broadcast crew consists of Kevin Harlan and Trent Green, with Melanie Collins reporting from the sidelines. If you don't live in the red areas, then you won't be able to watch the game on local CBS channels.

But, of course, there are plenty of other ways to watch in today's world. If you have YouTube TV, then there's obviously the Sunday Ticket package that comes with it. There are other streaming sites such as FuboTV, DAZN, and others, as well.

And, if you don't want to deal with any of that – you can always listen to the game on the Texans Radio Network

Texans have a great opportunity to score a signature win over the Bengals

By all means, the Texans have already overachieved in 2023. They also already have a trio of solid wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New Orleans Saints.

However, beating the current version of the Bengals would trump all those wins and it would officially put the Texans on the map in terms of playoff discussion. The schedule after this game sets them up to make a run, as well. Outside the Jags in Week 12 and the Cleveland Browns in Week 16, none of their remaining opponents currently have a winning record. In all, the Texans have the seventh-easiest remaining strength of schedule.

It's pretty wild to think we could be talking Texans and the postseason in Week 11. But hey, that's the sheer beauty of the NFL: no one is ever out of it until they're out of it.
