Over the Baltimore Ravens' recent four-game winning streak, they managed to build a lead in each contest and not look back.
The Ravens opened up a double-digit lead in their home matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10, but the script flipped for John Harbaugh’s squad. The Browns wound up storming back from a 15-point deficit in the second half to pick up a much-needed road victory over Baltimore.
During his postgame press conference, Mark Andrews shied away from singling out one moment from the divisional game to place the blame on for Baltimore’s collapse against Cleveland. Instead, he believes that the multitude of "mistakes" made by the Ravens in the contest are the reason why they did not extend their winning streak to five games.
"Just mistakes," Andrews said after the game. "I think it’s a culmination of everything. We need to, talk about putting teams down when they’re down, we should have done that. But even if it gets close at the end, it’s about doing our job, not making mistakes and playing the best football that we can, because we’re a hard team to beat.
"We were still in this. But we had plenty of chances to win this game, even [with] all the things that went wrong."
From the two turnovers to the three scoring drives allowed in the fourth quarter, it was just not Baltimore’s day.
The Ravens still sit in first place in the AFC North standings with a 7-3 record.
