The Las Vegas Raider's offense was putrid against the Miami Dolphins. But we all saw that and definitely knew that. They couldn't get anything going, which is ultimately the reason they lost the game.

The defense, on the other hand, is the reason they were even in the game for the whole game. They created turnover after turnover, allowing the offense opportunities to win the game. Yet, they couldn't.

Not even the run game was good enough after Josh Jacobs just had a stellar last two weeks. He wasn't able to establish really anything. Yet, somehow, he was still able to make the Raiders history books.

Here is what the Raiders PR team tweeted out after the loss:

RB Josh Jacobs has surpassed Marcus Allen (5,397) for the most rushing yards by a Raiders back in their first five NFL seasons.

Jacobs had 98 yards against the New York Giants, and that was the focal point of the offense. It was his first real big breakout game of the year. Then, against the New York Jets, he showed out with a smooth 116 rushing yards.

Against the Miami Dolphins, whose run defense hasn't been amazing by any means, he finished with just 39 rushing yards. The run game has to be better.
