The Las Vegas Raiders have a timetable for the rest of this season, and the clock is ticking. There are two major things that we need to know that everyone is asking, really, and we may not find out until after the season.

First, we need to know if Antonio Pierce is the guy. He has had two great weeks of coaching. This last Sunday could have been much, much better. He made some coaching decisions, like the field foals where he went for it on fourth down, that are just rookie coaching mistakes. But that happens. We need six more games to see what he can be if he does get the job in 2024.

We also need to know if this team will be on the search for another quarterback in 2024. Is Aidan O'Connell the guy going forward? Is Jimmy Garoppolo a guy they want to keep around with a new coaching staff? We have a lot of questions about the biggest position on the team.

On Monday, Antonio Pierce was asked when he will know if Aidan O'Connell is the guy. His response was perfect.

"6 more games left. We will find out in 6 more," Pierce said to reporters. "And then, you know, we will see what happens with AP in 2024."

The Raiders have some very important decisions to make, and they can't be rushed this time. Antonio Pierce knows that even if he's not going to be the coach next year, even if he is.
