The Minnesota Vikings fell to the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, ending a five-game winning streak.

Once again, Joshua Dobbs showed promise and the defense played well for the most part. Nevertheless, the Vikes were unable to pull off a sixth-straight win.

Now, let's identify the winners and losers from the game.

Winner: Joshua Dobbs

Dobbs did throw a pick and lose a fumble, but for the most part, the QB did what was needed. Dobbs has still been on the team for less than a month, so it’s pretty amazing he’s able to perform like this.

Sure, maybe Nick Mullens would have fewer turnovers. However, Mullens would not keep plays alive with his legs like Dobbs or score rushing TDs. It's hard for me not to label Dobbs a winner when he single-handedly keeps plays alive and scores points.

Loser: Ed Ingram

Ingram had been performing admirably for the last month or so. However, the lineman took a big step back on SNF. Ingram finished the night with a 51.3 PFF grade and Dobbs was sacked twice.

This line has been surprisingly good this season, but the unit and Ingram specifically failed to perform on the big stage.

Winner: Josh Oliver

Oliver has not only been an exceptional blocker, but he came up big in the receiving game on Sunday. Oliver had the lone receiving TD for the Vikes and ended with 4 catches for 47 yards.

Dobbs loves throwing to tight ends- Hockenson and Oliver combined for 8 catches for 102 yards and 1 TD. Oliver had a 90.0 PFF grade, which was the highest mark for the team on either side of the ball.

Loser: KJ Osborn

Osborn failed to deliver for Dobbs on SNF. It’s possible the receiver was still dealing with a hangover from his concussion, but still, it was disappointing to see Osborn not factor in. Considering this Broncos’ defense has been gashed at times this year, it’s surprising that Osborn was unable to get open.

The receiver ended with just 1 ctach for 7 yards. With Justin Jefferson returning soon, Osborn may have run out of chances to impress in a main role.

Winner: Ty Chandler

Chandler had an impressive game, taking 10 carries for 73 yards. Included in that is a 31-yard scamper on a fake punt.

The running back also contributed 4 catches for 37 yards, and just generally appeared to have more juice than Alexander Mattison. The Vikes have struggled to gain traction on the ground this year, but Chandler has the highest yards per attempt on the team. The second-year player should start seeing more snaps as the season progresses.

Loser: Alexander Mattison

Poor Alexander Mattison. The running back seemed destined to be an above-average starting back this season. Instead, Mattison has failed to do much of anything and is losing snaps to Chandler.

Against the Broncos, Mattison had a decent stat line, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Mattison fumbled again and was outshine by Chandler. Even in a game where Mattison finished with 81 yards, fans still came away thinking the better player is his backup.

Winner: Danielle Hunter

Hunter is now second in the league in sacks with 12. Hunter is behind only Myles Garrett who was 13.

Against the Broncos, Hunter had 3 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 QB hits.

The veteran continues to prove his worth by being almost the entire team's pass rush. Hunter is playing at an All-Pro level, making the Vikings' feel good about keeping the veteran in tow this season.
