An NFL insider seemed to hint that Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss' status for their Week 8 matchup with the New Orleans Saints is truly "questionable."

ESPN's Adam Schefter shared the following update last night about Moss.

The Colts RB will test his foot injury tomorrow during the team's pre-game warmups. And he and the team will make a decision on his availability after.

If he cannot go, the Colts RB room will be pretty thin, as they only have two other players on their active roster and have already elevated their two practice squad players for tomorrow's game. Without Moss, the Colts would only have Jonathan Taylor and Trey Sermon at RB.

This would likely spell for the Colts to give Taylor his largest workload of the season. Taylor is coming off his best game since returning from the PUP list in Week 5. The Colts run game has been very efficient this season since Moss returned from injury in Week 2. Moss is currently 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards this season with 523 yards, trailing only Christian McCaffery (598). The Colts are tied for third on the year in rushing touchdowns with 11.

While Taylor being back in the fold would soften the blow of Moss' absence, the one-two punch they offer has been a dynamic part of the Colts offense. Especially as they will be playing their backup QB, Gardner Minshew, for the rest of the season with Anthony Richardson out for the season after having a successful shoulder surgery.
