The New England Patriots got some good news on Sunday morning prior to a crucial divisional matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has been sidelined with a concussion since Oct. 8, is reportedly set to make his return to the lineup, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
With Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey being activated off injured reserve and making his season debut on Sunday, the Patriots will need all the additional weapons they can get.
Smith-Schuster joined the Patriots this past offseason, coming off a Super Bowl victory with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The receiver signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Patriots in March.
However, Smith-Schuster hasn't done much for the team this season, having played in five games with 14 receptions for 86 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
With his absence, Kendrick Bourne and Demario Douglas have become the two top receivers for the Patriots.
But with the Patriots looking to turn things around, Smith-Schuster getting more involved is exactly what the team needs this season.
