The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to turn things around. They have already made a few moves this week after the firing of Josh McDaniels, and those moves reflect who their interim head coach is in Antonio Daniels.
The Raiders signed Jaylon Smith on Thursday, who will help the linebacker corps out as they struggle with injuries. They also signed two players to the practice squad, who are also linebackers.
These are all Antonio Pierce-type moves.
However, they had to let one guy go because of the signing. They have released cornerback David Long Jr.
Long Jr. was a rotational cornerback and was often times taking snaps from Tyler Hall.
Raiders fire Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler
The Raiders lost to the Lions on Monday Night Football.
