Fans of the New York Giants will likely get to watch the return of their starting quarterback Daniel Jones on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Well, actually not that many probably will be able to, at least on regular cable.
The Giants-Raiders game is going up against Dallas at Philadelphia at the same time on Fox, and the latter is completely dominating the television coverage. Per 506Sports.com, unless you're in the southern half of Nevada, New York state (with a few exceptions), New Jersey, Connecticut, or Vermont – with a few smatterings in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire – you won't be seeing the Giants and Raiders square off on local TV.

It's not hard to understand why. The Giants are dead last in the NFC East at 2-6. The 3-5 Raiders just fired head coach Josh McDaniels, general manager Dave Ziegler, and offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi and benched their starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in favor of rookie Aidan O'Connell.
Meanwhile, the rival Eagles and Cowboys will be squaring off for what would effectively be early control of the division at the halfway point of the season. Philadelphia is 7-1 and Dallas 5-2, but a Dallas win would even the teams in the loss column with the Cowboys having the tiebreaker.
Again, it's easy to see why Fox is putting the mass majority of eyeballs on an early huge divisional tilt. Unfortunately, this could continue to be the slight that Giants fans will have to deal with for the rest of what appears to be a lost season.
