Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has not had much success as of late in opening up the offense with downfield throws.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jackson has completed 31.4 percent of passes that have gone 20-plus yards. He has thrown a mere one touchdown pass and holds a 67.6 passer rating on such throws.

The lone 20-plus yard passing touchdown that Jackson has logged this season came when he connected with Odell Beckham Jr. for a 40-yard receiving score in the Ravens’ home loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson is hoping to turn around his woes in the deep passing game as soon as Baltimore’s upcoming home matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

"Can’t dwell on it," Jackson said during a press conference on Tuesday. "Hopefully this Thursday we catch them when we want them, we have success with the deep ball, we connect and have chemistry there.

"I believe it’s there [because] in practice we do it all the time. Those guys catch the ball down the field 40 yards, 50 yards down the field. We need to transition that over to the games, that’s all."

Overall, Jackson has tallied 12 passing touchdowns in nine career games played against Cincinnati.
