It was just yesterday that I examined a group of Steelers that need a big second half of 2023 to stick around in Pittsburgh in 2024.

And while Pittsburgh WR Allen Robinson was a part of that group, he may be past the point of no return on second look.

Especially when you examine how much money he's due to make next season:

$10 Million For Blocking?

Robinson has been excellent in the run game over the past couple of weeks, and surely is part of the reason why Pittsburgh has exploded on the ground. That being said, the former Pro Bowler has 19 receptions for 154 yards after nine games this year.

And when you consider he is due a whopping $10 million dollars in base salary while having $0 in guaranteed money on his deal after this season, I would say the writing is on the wall in this situation.

Now, that doesn't necessarily mean Robinson is a definite out in Pittsburgh, as if he's willing to take a pretty big haircut, he could probably find himself back in the black & gold next season.

So we'll see what happens down the stretch of the season. If Robinson can continue to play in a '"Power Slot" role where he does the dirty work of digging out linebackers and safeties in the run game, he will certainly generate interest from Pittsburgh.

But regardless, it won't be at that figure.
