With the Indianapolis Colts on bye this week, they will have extra time to watch the Week 11 slate, especially the games that directly affect them.

Tonight on Thursday Night Football, there will be a battle of AFC North teams between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. And this one should interest all Colts fans.

By the end of this season, the Colts will have played both of these teams. They already defeated the Ravens Week 3 of this year in an overtime thriller. And are slated to take on the Bengals in Week 14. Via where the Colts stand, though, it is pretty clear which team the Colts will be rooting for in this game.

Who to root for:

The Ravens currently sit at 7-3 on the season and the second seed in the AFC. The Bengals are the first team out of the AFC playoff picture and, therefore, the eighth seed with a 5-4 record. The Colts are just one spot behind the Bengals as the ninth seed in the AFC with a 5-5 record. If you are following along, I'm sure you see where this is going.

The Colts will be rooting for the Ravens tonight on Thursday Night Football. While the Colts beat the Ravens, it is significantly more likely that the Colts catch the Bengals than they catch the Ravens. The Colts could also control their own destiny as long as the Bengals remain with a similar record to the Colts. If the Ravens can pull out the win, that Week 14 matchup will be critical for both the Colts and the Bengals.
