In arguably the most anticipated matchup of the TNF slate thus far, two of the NFL's most dynamic teams faced off.
In a tight AFC North and with both teams coming off a loss, Thursday was pivotal for both sides.
Here are the plays that changed the game:
Mark Andrews Goes Down
Andrews went down and was in a lot of pain early on in the game. This injury resulted from the hip-drop tackle that the league has taken the initiative of putting an end to. Andrews would quickly be ruled out with what was called an ankle injury. It was an unfortunate outcome but it led to fortune for Baltimore:
Gus Bus For Six
Gus Edwards clearly has a nose for the endzone and he showed that off once again, finding the endzone for a stellar eight time in only five previous games.
Oh No Joe
Bengals QB Joe Burrow wasn't on the injury report heading into the game, but he was spotted earlier in the week with a wrap on his wrist. It appears he re-injured the wrist in the first half and would leave the game before the second quarter ended, officially listed as questionable with a wrist injury.
Go score Agholor
This was one of the better plays of Algholor's career, as he turned on the jets to finish the run after the catch before flipping into the endzone to put the Ravens on top before another big play to close out the half:
Bateman or Batman
Bateman made sure to give the Ravens a comfortable lead heading into half as he and Lamar hooked up for what was a strike on a big 3rd and long in the fringe red zone. With Burrow questionable going into the second half, this was a huge score for the Ravens.
Odell Goes Deep
This play would put OBJ over 100 yards ion the night, his first such game since the NFC championship in 2021, and set the Ravens up for an easy TD that all but sealed the deal. OBJ would suffer a shoulder injury and miss the rest of that game, but it was likey a precaution with the game out of reach.
The throw would put Lamart over 250 yards in the air to go along with over 50 yards on the ground for a total of over 300 all-purpose yards, Two TDs and no turnovers, helping Jackson make his case for NFL MVP in a big spot.
