The frustrations are beginning to mount for the New York Jets and it seems to be getting worse.

This is not a team that is okay with the way thing have gone the last two weeks. The Jets came into the season with high expectations and things have not gone well since Aaron Rodgers went down.

After last week’s embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Breece Hall seemed to take shots at the play calling and Sauce Gardner took out some frustrations on social media.

But during the 15-10 loss to the Patriots more Jets players seemed to have issues with coaches and other players. Michael Carter needed to be held back by Xavier Gibson while yelling at Jets running back coach, Taylor Embree.

The exchange came in the second half of Sunday’s game, not long after Carter was taken down by Patriots safety Kyle Dugger on a blitz.

Carter clarified after the game that he has the “utmost respect” for Embree, and credits him as one of the biggest reasons that Carter is a Jet today. He did not disclose what he said to Embree, but he said that it had nothing to do with anything outside of the game.

“It was 100% two competitors who both want to win,” Carter told reporters. “And I think that a lot of people, they see it as drama, and I’ve got to control myself better. I’m 24 years old, I know better.”

Star wide receiver Garrett Wilson could be seen on the sideline yelling at struggling QB Zach Wilson and OC Nathaniel Hackett as well.

“Frustrating that we’re not moving the ball” – Garrett Wilson on his heated sideline conversation.

Asked if he feels he’s being put in best position to have success, Wilson said he’s feel he’s physically ready to break out, but isn’t, and that could be for a number of reasons “I don’t know,” he said.

Head coach Robert Saleh doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the recent string of outbursts from his players.

"No, I'm not worried about the locker room," Saleh said. "We've got a great locker room. We'll be fine."

Robert Saleh might want to check the game tape before he dismisses issues in the locker room. While many of the Jets players are saying all the right things after two tough losses, frustrations are clearly mounting for some.

It is one thing to believe you have a good locker room and it is another to ignore what is clearly in front of you. Saleh better get out ahead of this. With the Jets hosting the Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs next week, things can spiral quickly.
