Several Baltimore Ravens players did not finish the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Among them, Gus Edwards suffered a concussion during the game.

Edwards left the contest after he completed a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter. He went over to the sideline to be evaluated for a concussion and later made his way to the locker room. The versatile running back did not return to the game, as Baltimore called on Kenyan Drake and Melvin Gordon to lead its ground game the rest of the way.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said during a press conference on Monday that Edwards is still in the "evaluation" phase with his concussion.

"I don't know the exact details of where he's at right now," Harbaugh said. "I haven't heard. I don't know how it's defined right now. He's in 'evaluation' is the best thing to say. I don't know where he's at in the stage [or] what stage he's at."

It is currently unknown as to just which running backs will be available for the Ravens in their upcoming road clash with the Cleveland Browns. J.K. Dobbins has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a torn Achilles injury suffered in Week 1, while Justice Hill missed Baltimore’s home contest against the Colts due to a toe ailment.

The Ravens do have both Drake and Gordon as options to anchor its ground game in Week 4. Baltimore could also look to bring in a running back outside of the organization, although Harbaugh noted on Monday that the team is not yet ready to make a final call on this matter.

"All that is up in the air right now," Harbaugh said. "We'll just see where we're at. It's early, it's Monday. [The] guys get evaluated on Monday."

The Ravens currently rank fifth in the NFL in rushing yards per game with a 158.0 average.
