Monday's injury report was not what you want to see if you're the Green Bay Packers, but things looked a lot different on Tuesday.

It all started with Romeo Doubs telling the media that star running back, Aaron Jones, will play on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions.

"We'll have 33 back," Doubs told reporters when asked if Jones plays on Thursday, via The Athletic's Matt Schneidman.

Next up was Christian Watson, who told reporters his plan is to play on Thursday, as well.

"That's the plan," said Watson. "… I'm feeling really good where I'm at… It was just as soon as I was feeling like I could go out there and be Christian Watson was when I was going to go out there…

"It was just whenever I was ready… but I still feel like it will be a day-to-day thing, in terms of still trying to get to a point where I feel as good as I can going into it."

Officially, Watson was upgraded from DNP on Monday to a limited participant on Tuesday. Jones was a limited participant for the second straight day.

The Packers' latest injury report also features a couple more big developments: Starting right tackle Zach Tom was upgraded to limited, as well as All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander and the guy who started in place of him last week in Carrington Valentine.

All-Pro linebacker De'Vondre Campbell was listed as a non-participant, so his status is certainly something to monitor on Wednesday.

The Lions received a boost with center Frank Ragnow's upgrade to a full participant. Fullback Jason Cabinda was downgraded to DNP.

Again, keep in mind that this week's practice routine will consist of walkthroughs considering the short turnaround. But at the same time, all practice designations are created by means of what that player would've done during an actual practice. So, if a player is listed as a limited participant, it means they would've been limited on a regular week and so on and so forth.
