New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has broken his silence following Monday night's season-ending injury. Since the quarterback went down on the most watched Monday Night Football in ESPN history, it's been confirmed that Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles.

While the injury has raised concerns about his future in the NFL, Rodgers is leaving no doubt with his latest social media post: He plans to return.

"I shall rise yet again," wrote Rodgers in a recent Instagram post. You can read the full post down below.

Thank you to every person that has reached out, called, texted, DM’d, connected through a friend, etc. It has meant a ton to me, and I’ll try and get back to all of you soon.

I’m completely heartbroken and moving through all of the emotions, but deeply touched and humbled by the support and love.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I begin the healing process today.

The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again. Proud of my guys, 1-0

Rodgers kept things classy, closing out with a message sending support to his teammates, who went on to win their Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills despite losing their starting quarterback in the first quarter.

Next weekend, the Jets will go on the road against the Dallas Cowboys with Zach Wilson quarterbacking them. Rodgers, meanwhile, will be rehabbing with his eyes set on 2024.
