Trey Quinn is a name that Detroit Lions fans might remember. He might also be a name that Michigan Panthers fans might remember. Quinn was actually with the Lions during training camp this past summer before he wound up getting waived with an injury settlement.

Now the Lions are bringing back to join their practice squad. He'll fill in the open spot that Darrell Daniels left when he was elevated last week.

Quinn is a former Mr. Irrelevant. He was taken with the very last pick of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders. He's had stops with the Jaguars, Raiders and Broncos. Before his stint with the Lions at camp, he was with the Michigan Panthers of the USFL.

Quinn only got to play one preseason game for the Lions in August. He had one catch for eight yards. That's really all we got to see out of him. There must be something that the team liked enough to have him come back. I'm not sure we'll ever see what that is though. I'm really curious about this one.
