The Chicago Bears have released their latest injury report after Thursday's practice for Week 3's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Three new players have joined the report this week, pushing the Bears total to seven. However, the Bears got good news with defensive back Justin Blackwell and starting offensive lineman Lucas Patrick fully returning to practice.
Thursday's full injury report can be seen below.
The newest players listed on the injury report on Thursday were offensive lineman Nate Davis, linebacker Khalid Kareem, and tight end Marcedes Lewis.
Lewis missed practice with his regularly scheduled veteran rest day. Davis again missed practice for personal reasons but was reportedly back in the building on Wednesday according to head coach Matt Eberflus.
As for Kareem, it's reported that he was limited in Thursday's practice with a hip injury.
Starting safety Eddie Jackson did not participate in practice for the second straight day as he continues to deal with a foot injury suffered in Week 2's loss to the Buccaneers. Earlier this week, Eberflus noted things seem positive in regards to Jackson's injury. His availability for Sunday will be something to monitor throughout the weekend.
Wide receiver Darnell Mooney told reporters on Monday that he was dealing with a knee bruise suffered on Sunday after knocking knees with multiple Buccaneers defenders. He said he will be fine but has been limited during each day of practice.
The Bears key players will need to get healthy quick before facing off against the reigning Super Bowl Champs this weekend.
