Kyle Hamilton is putting together quite a memorable performance in the Baltimore Ravens' home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Hamilton was all over the place in the opening half of the Ravens’ Week 3 contest, as he tallied nine total tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss, three quarterback hits and one forced fumble.

Hamilton’s third sack of the first half caught Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew by surprise. The second-year safety ended up pushing Indianapolis out of field goal range.

As noted by StatMuse, Hamilton became the first Ravens defensive back to tally at least 3.0 sacks in a game since Bernie Thompson managed to do so in the 1996 campaign. Thompson logged 3.0 sacks in Baltimore’s road loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in that season.

This feat for Hamilton is quite impressive considering that he entered Week 3 having recorded a mere 2.0 sacks in 18 regular season games played with the current AFC North leaders. He also did not register a single sack during his three-season run at Notre Dame.

In the big picture, the Ravens are aiming to notch a 3-0 record for the first time since the 2016 campaign.
