The New Orleans seemed to be causing to 3-0. They held a 17-0 lead over the Green Bay Packers at halftime in their Week 3 matchup.

Then, every domino began to fall. Derek Carr suffered an apparent injury in the third quarter that we now know is a shoulder issue. The defense began to make mistakes, and the offense never got off the ground again.

All in all, the Saints lost a game, their quarterback, and some trust from their fan base in Week 3 against Green Bay.

The loss was yet another second half crumbling from a Dennis Allen-led Saints team. They were in the driver's seat, but they seemingly took their foot off the gas. Just ask the Miami Dolphins how to avoid that after their 70-20 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 3.

The Saints made multiple careless mistakes in the second half, including untimely penalties and route combos that led to Packers touchdowns and quick offensive drives for New Orleans.

For the Saints, 2-1 without Alvin Kamara isn't too shabby from an outside perspective.

Add in the fact that they'll be without their starting QB for multiple weeks now, and the future gets cloudier. We are still waiting on an official timetable for Carr, but New Orleans won't rush him back. They can't afford to.

The Saints will look to bounce back against an NFC South rival in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. Alvin Kamara will be back.
