Quality control and assistant defensive line coach Sharrif Floyd fainted during the Dallas Cowboys' win over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Fortunately, it seems like Floyd is okay as David Moore from the Dallas Morning News reported he's "been released from the hospital and will work from home (Monday)."

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy didn't offer much information after the game on Sunday but did sound optimistic about Floyd's status.

"Sharrif was sent to the hospital," McCarthy told reporters. "That's really all the information that I have, we're obviously being very cautious given what happened. I feel pretty good about the information we've been given."

During the CBS broadcast, it was noted that Floyd got up under his own power during the game. We wish Floyd the best during his recovery.

Floyd arrived in Dallas in February of this year. A former first-round draft pick, Floyd has found a way to stick around football following a career-ending injury. His ties with Dan Quinn go back to his collegiate days, having played with the defensive coordinator as a Florida Gator in 2011 and 2012.
