The Las Vegas Raiders took a huge loss against the Buffalo Bills. This is one of the worst losses we have seen in the Josh McDaniels era, maybe right after last season against the New Orleans Saints.
The Raiders had little to no positives in that game. Usually, even in a loss, there is something positive you can still take from a game. This time, there really isn't anything. In fact, let's point out the "losers" from the game because it came from some guys we really wouldn't expect.
Here are the Raiders' losers from the Raiders 38-10 loss to the Bills:
Raiders losers
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB – Garoppolo played very well in his first-ever game wearing silver and black against the Denver Broncos. He found Jakobi Meyers for that once in the end zone and established the offensive system the way it needed to be run.
But he was more than bad when it came to lining up across from the Buffalo Bills elite defense. Garoppolo finished with two interceptions on the day and had just 185 passing yards. For this offense to work, he has to be better.
Josh Jacobs, RB – Jacobs had the worst game of his career against the Buffalo Bills. Sure, their run defense is great, but you wouldn't think it would be good enough to hold Jacobs, the 2022 rushing king, to -2 yards on nine carries.
They stopped him every single time they had the chance. Sure, the offensive line was a huge reason the run game wasn't working, but Jacbs was also a big reason why. He just wasn't good.
Maxx Crosby, DE – Crosby is the best defender on the team and one of the best players on the team. However, he wasn't great on Sunday, and it really wasn't his fault. Crosby was constantly chipped or double-teamed when the opposing team had the chance.
Crosby is a guy you have to do that for. And, with the way his fellow defensive linemen are playing, teams will continue to get away with it. Crosby wasn't able to walk out of Buffalo with a sack on Sunday.
Raiders HC Josh McDaniels is brutally honest after loss to Bills
The Las Vegas Raiders head coach was not very happy.
