The Buffalo Bills' headlines should be all about their victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. How the team bounced back in a big way with the defense shining and Josh Allen reminding the NFL of just how elite he can be.

Instead, one of the biggest focuses is on something that didn't happen on the field. Rather, what happened during a press conference with no one around. I previously wrote about how a reporter had attacked Diggs' character, albeit joking, and how Diggs responded to the incident.

Now, the Bills Mafia was just given an even more in-depth look at the team and how they responded to the latest controversy. Specifically, head coach Sean McDermott opened up on what went down, and what he thinks about Stefon Diggs

Speaking to the Albert Breer, McDermott didn't hold back. He left the fanbase and the world with a message that everyone can get behind. Specifically, he broke down what he felt about his superstar WR and how he handled the troubling situation.

“The guy loves football," McDermott continued, highlighting how Diggs' professionalism was paramount in him overcoming these off-the-field obstacles. "He’s got a really unselfish approach. That could have, if he didn’t handle it the right way, become a distraction. It was to begin with. But it could have become a bigger one."

McDermott praised Diggs and his ability to just focus on football, to go out and dominate once again. While his seven catches for 66 yards won't break the bank, he proved that he's an ultimate competitor and a trusty target that Allen can continuously lean on, regardless of whatever happens off the field.

We're just happy Diggs is a member of the Buffalo Bills and look forward to him continuing to dominate at a high level. Quiet the noise and ball out. Diggs, as he likes to point out frequently, is "him."
