The Detroit Lions have had to do a lot of maneuvering this week with all the injuries they have going on. Chase Lucas, Kayode Awosika and Zonovan Knight have all been moved to the Lions 53 man roster. That opened up some spots to fill on the practice squad.
The Lions worked out seven players on Tuesday and they wound up signing two of them along with two familiar names. Those names being running back Devine Ozigbo, who spent the summer with the Lions, and fan favorite Dan Skipper. The tackle is coming in for his fourth stint with the Lions.
The new guys coming in are cornerback Darius Phillips and and linebacker Mitchell Agude. Here's a little insight on both of those guys.
Phillips is a local guy. He grew up in Detroit and played his college ball at Western Michigan. He was drafted by the Bengals in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He's had other stops with the Raiders, Broncos and Texans.
