Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been orchestrating the most efficient campaign of his career.

Jackson has posted a 68.3 percent completion percentage through 12 games played in the year, which is a career-high and is tied with Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson for the fifth-best mark among qualified passers. According to Pro Football Reference, Jackson has also logged a career-best 15.8 percent bad throw percentage on the season.

Roquan Smith was recently asked by NBC Sports analyst and former NFL safety Rodney Harrison on just what is “different” about Jackson this season, and the all-around linebacker took some time to laud the sixth-year passer.

"I think it's the freedom, being able to beat you with his arm, beat you with his legs," Smith said. "Regardless, he can do whatever he wants on the field. Guy is special.

"Seeing him in OTAs as well as in practice, day in and day out, and like how easy he makes everything look, I'm just grateful that he's my teammate, and I'm not going against him week in and week out."

While the Ravens have had their fair share of ups and downs on the offensive side of the ball, the unit has been quite proficient as of late. Overall, the Jackson-led Ravens offense ranks in the top 10 this year in both points per game (27.0) and total yards per game (366.1).

Baltimore will next meet a Los Angeles Rams team in Week 14 that has allowed a 21.3 points per game average this season.
