Cleveland’s defense is struggling on the road this season, for some reason they are just a different team than they are at home.

One part of the struggling defense right now is the play of superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett. Since he was injured against the Denver Broncos, he’s been a different player. For the rest of that game and all of Week 13, it was easy to notice that Garrett was not himself. Unfortunately for Cleveland, it’s another injury to add to the list.

Against the Los Angeles Rams, Garrett did not record a single stat. You wouldn’t find Garrett’s name under tackles, sacks, pressures, or anything. On Sunday, Garrett played 89 percent of the snaps, a season high.

Following the game, Garrett said that the shoulder didn’t bother him. Even if it did, he’s not the kind of guy to make an excuse.

“Didn't affect me that much,” Garrett said following the game. “Just had a great game plan for us up front."

Cleveland needs Garrett to get healthy and back to his dominating ways. Though Garrett doesn’t have a sack in the last two games, he still has a total of 13 to his name. The pass rush getting home is a key to Jim Schwartz’s system and it didn’t happen in Week 13.

Now, at 7-5 on the season, Garrett and the Browns head home in Week 14 to host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I always feel good about this team. We go right back to the drawing board and get back to work."
