Draft talk has slowed down quite a bit, lately, for the Green Bay Packers (5-6), but that doesn't mean we need to stop keeping track of what games they're attending.

Saturday provided yet another big clue at which prospects the Packers are keeping an eye on. Per ESPN's Jordan Reid, Brian Gutekunst sent "multiple representatives" to the Michigan-Ohio State game. And while that seems business-as-usual, it's important to note this is now the second Michigan game -that we know of- where multiple Packers representatives were in attendance.

There's obviously plenty of reason to send multiple reps to one of the year's biggest games that also featured two of the top teams in the country. Ann Arbor is also about seven hours away from Green Bay, so it's not like it's a major trip.

But, the key again, is the fact that this is at least the second Michigan game with multiple Packers reps in the stands. Below are some of the program's top players in the 2024 NFL Draft:

  • QB JJ McCarthy
  • RB Blake Corum
  • RB Donovan Edwards
  • S Rod Moore
  • DT Kris Jenkins
  • WR Roman Wilson
  • G Zak Zinter

Unfortunately, Zinter suffered a broken tibula and fibula during Saturday's game, but he is still considered one of the top interior offensive line prospects.

There are a lot of top Michigan prospects the Packers could use in 2024. Well, actually, the Packers could probably use all those guys, next year.

Ohio State has some interesting prospects, themselves:

  • WR Emeka Ebugka
  • EDGE JT Tuimoloau
  • CB Denzel Burke
  • RB TreVeyon Henderson
  • G Donovan Jackson
  • DT Tyleik Williams
  • DT Michael Hall Jr.
  • LB Tommy Eichenberg

The Packers currently have eight picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, including the extra second-rounder the New York Jets sent over in the Aaron Rodgers trade. Right now, the Jets' pick is the 40th overall pick. The Packers have their own pick at No. 46, so the team is in great shape to add some solid talent in the second round. Or, they could even use those picks to move up in the first round, if they want. The Packers are slated to pick at No. 13 after Thursday's big win over the Detroit Lions.
