The New York Giants received some key news ahead of their matchup against the New England Patriots.

Despite being listed as doubtful to plan on Sunday, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Darius Slayton will be active for the game.

The wide receiver has been dealing with a neck injury this week, "but improved over the last day."

This provides quarterback Tommy Devito with one of his top weapons.

So far this season, Slayton has 30 receptions for 419 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the rushing side, he has one carry for -13 yards.

His only touchdown this season came in last week's win over the Washington Commanders. Yet soon after, he left the game with a neck injury. Because of that, he has been limited at practice this week.

Yet, the receiver was determined not to miss the game. Let's see what he can do against the Patriots.
