The New England Patriots' slim playoff chances are still alive.

After a promising performance in the first half, the Patriots were able to hold off the Pittsburgh Steelers' comeback attempt and escape with their third win of the season.

So with that, they have yet to be eliminated from the playoffs.

CBS Sports posted a graphic earlier this week highlighting the Patriots road to the playoffs.

And that includes the team winning all five of their final matchups.

They can check Week 14 off the list now.

With this, the Houston Texans have to lose to the New York Jets, the Cincinnati Bengals have to lose to the Indianapolis Colts, the Denver Broncos have to beat the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills have to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs.

And that's only for this week.

While it's unlikely, the Patriots have done their job for Week 14.

However it is certainly not an easy road ahead and New England will have to rely on a lot of other teams to make a postseason run possible.
