As the Cleveland Browns move on from the Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos, they’ll be holding their breath waiting on news about their best player.

Defensive Player of the Year candidate DE Myles Garrett left the game in a sling and revealed that he felt something pop in his left shoulder.

Losing Garrett for any amount of time would be devastating for the NFL’s best defense. This season alone, the Browns have lost RB Nick Chubb, QB Deshaun Watson, and RT Jack Conklin to season-ending injuries.

Garrett admitted after the game that he doesn’t know how significant it is, but him not being able to get his shirt over his head by himself is not a good sign. He is expected to undergo testing tomorrow.

“We’ll see, at the end of the day. I’ve played through stuff that should have sidelined me before,” Garrett explained after the 29-12 loss. “Going to continue to fight and do what’s best for the team and myself. We have high hopes for this season and what we want to do.”

Garrett currently leads the NFL with 13 sacks and is well on his way to being an All-Pro once again. Now, he and his team just have to hope all is well with the shoulder. The Browns are heading to Los Angeles after the game, where they’ll stay all next week leading up to their matchup with the Rams.
