Last week was rivalry week, and we always know there will be some type of trash talk or shady pettiness toward one another when the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs are playing.

This time, it was after the game; instead of the prior head butt, we saw Maxx Crosby give Patrick Mahomes. It was in the form of a backhanded compliment by Davante Adams.

Now, Adams had a better game than he had been having the last few weeks, as he had the big touchdown play as well. But that didn't change the fact that he was upset after the game. This time it couldn't be about his targets; it was about losing, which is understandable.

"No disrespect to them, but it was more about what we were doing," Adams told reporters in the locker room after the game. "We just didn't really execute the way that we had been doing in a position to put some points on the board, so we just have to do a better job of sticking to the things that get us to that point."

Just in my personal experience, saying no disrespect before saying something disrespectful is still disrespectful. However, Adams is kind of right. The Raiders went up 14-0, and then they started losing it. It really started with the run game not being able to get things going again after Josh Jacobs' big play.

Not to mention, the playcalling started getting too predictable. There was one point where the Raiders had run it on first down three or four straight times. As a team, they have to be better. And while Adams didn't have to say that, I think he is right, to an extent.
